I like to knit, but I LOVE to quilt. Knitting is something I can do in a waiting room; it's an easier project to take along with me. I have little experience. I can make scarves and hot pads.

I would love to knit but haven't got the hang of it yet. All I've managed to complete is a slightly wonky dishcloth. I bought a sock loom with great hopes but haven't pulled it out of the box yet! There are so many wonderful yarns out there. I need to try again. In the meantime, I'm totally addicted to quilting!
I would love to learn to knit but I have been a crocheter forever!
Knitting is my #1 love. After that is quilting, then sewing in general. Also figuring into the mix are cross-stitching, and I have a room-sized loom that is an antique that I'm dying to learn to weave on!
I've read some of these type of books (lent to me by a friend) but they are not readily available here in the UK
I have been learning to sew - but my son's friend loves to knit - this would be a great gift for her!
