As for bulky fliers, I did investigate a bulky head for my gem, but was advised the gem was too light - and given how large the standard bobbins are, and how fine I like to spin, and the difficulty of dealing with skeins and winding balls over 170g - I decided that the standard bobbin was best for me. If you spin thick or art yarn - your mileage may vary (YMMV).Stellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05073753506202447996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-777295017922806685.post-10724397697369323852012-06-29T08:47:25.014-06:002012-06-29T08:47:25.014-06:00I think I forgot to answer your email. I'm so ...I think I forgot to answer your email. I'm so sorry. I like the colors of the wool that you're working with. I've been spinning black Merino and I just pulled a box of Lincoln out of storage to see about dyeing it. Enjoy your spinning, and again, sorry for not answering the email!<br />JudyJudy https://www.blogger.com/profile/10019813216009291474noreply@blogger.com
